FPOs typically have limited entrepreneurship and business management skills. There is a need for their capacity building and training of the stakeholders involving Implementing Agencies, Cluster Based Business Organizations (CBBOs), FPO Board of Directors (BoDs), FPO CEO, FPO Accountant and the FPO member farmers.
The Learning Management Solution has been designed to cover topics ranging from the scheme related, FPO promotion related and crop-specific trainings covering a diverse range of the topics from Governance, Access to Finance, Value addition & processing, Marketing, Bookkeeping, Compliance requirements, & MIS as may be relevant for the promotion of FPOs including case studies in best practices if any.
  • Build the capacity and knowledge of all the stakeholders (FPOs/CBBOs/IAs/Farmers) under the 10,000 FPOs scheme
  • To create a uniform understanding of the outcomes expected out the scheme
  • Creating training modules specific to the capacity building needs of all stakeholders in different maturity stages
  • Creating both online and offline interacting training modules for specialized offline and mass online trainings of farmers and FPOs.
  • Creating robust monitoring and assessment mechanism to measure the training delivery and adoption success
  • Empanelling specialized training partners to cater to the specific capacity needs of the farmers/FPOs
  • Providing low-cost and mass outreach training ecosystem under the scheme
